New Organ Building Company

Lubbert Gnodde is pleased to announce the start of his own organ building business under the name L. Gnodde LLC. He previously apprenticed and worked with David Moore since moving to Vermont from the Netherlands in 2009. Lubbert is accepting requests and bids for all aspects of organ building in the New England region. It is a full-service company which offers tuning and maintenance, new tracker pipe organ construction, consultation, restoration and rebuild of extant organs, pipe making and voicing. Lubbert almost exclusively uses traditional methods, materials and parts with an emphasis on longevity and artistic functionality, based on his extensive study of historic organs in Europe and the US. He is currently the organist at Our Lady of the Snows in Woodstock and also active as a concert organist.
